The Management team of Institute of Quality Management (IPQ) paid a courtesy visit to the Malaysia Productivity Corporation Northern Region at Kepala Batas, Seberang Perai recently. The team comprised of the Director of IPQ, Prof. Dr. Sany Sanuri Mohd Mokhtar, Deputy Director, IPQ, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rohaizah Saad, Quality Management Manager,Dr. Mohd Norhasni Mohd Asaad, Chief Assistant Director Mrs. Faizah Hashim, and Mrs Nurul Asyiqin Muhamad Zaini, Assistant Administrative Officer.

The purpose of the visit was to discuss with the newly appointed Director of MPC Northern Region Dr. Mazrina Ibramsah matters related to the continuation of MOU between MPC-UUM, collaborative opportunities in research, consultation, student placement and courses / training / workshops.

In addition Dr. Mazrina also explains several categories of recognition awarded by the MPC, namely Environmental Practice Recognition (QE / 5S), Lean Management Recognition / Team Excellent Certification (ICC), Business Excellence Recognition and a number of other recognition programs.

At the end of the visit, the Director of IPQ Prof. Dr. Sany Sanuri Mohd Mokhtar, thanked MPC for receiving them.
