The Phase III Strategic Plan Review Workshop (2021-2025) at the core thrust level opened with a discussion of Thrust 1 - Academic Excellence on 14 September 2020 at Alamanda 1, EDC Hotels and Resorts. This workshop was an important platform to address and refine performance indicators (PIs), action plans along with short-term and long-term budgets for each PI under the core thrust.

"IPQ will hold more workshops like this for all cores in the future to ensure UUM’s Road map and Strategic Plan are designed to achieve the set targets by 2025", said Prof. Dr. Sany Sanuri Mohd. Mokhtar, Director of the Institute of Quality Management (IPQ) via webex virtual meeting.

This workshop were attended by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic & International) cum Chairman of Committee Core 1, Yang Berusaha Prof. Dr. Yusnidah Ibrahim, Assistant Vice Chancellor of UUM COB, Prof. Dr. Salniza Md. Salleh, Assistant Vice Chancellor of UUM COLGIS, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fuad Bin Othman, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Azham Haji Hussain (Deputy Director of IPQ), Directors of the relevant Centres of Authority, and staff of the Corporate Planning Division, IPQ.

The afternoon presentation session were attended by the Director of the Department of Strategic and Business Development, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hijattulah Abdul Jabbar, Acting Treasurer,  Mdm. Eylani Ahmad, and Senior Assistant Director from the Department of Strategic and Business Development (BSD) Mr. Mohd Sallehuddin Md. Salim

The Phase II Strategic Plan will cease at the end of 2020 while Phase III will be implemented from 2021 to 2025.
